This book of poems came alive for the mere reason that too often I was left all alone with my thoughts and feelings and my situation unknown to the living. The only way I knew how to deal with the initial impact of what I was feeling, and temporary release what I was going through was to write it down. They are based on actual events, experiences and the emotions that were felt in that moment.

This literal journey started at a very tender age as a means of expressing my secret, innermost self.
